Who we are. what we do.

Community outreach

Each year, we award five scholarships to deserving recipients. We also support cancer patients, survivors, and others facing challenges. Helping people through tough times is—and always will be—at the heart of what we do.
We regularly cook for local charities and events, such as end-of-season celebrations for the youth soccer league and initiatives like "Strike Out Cancer," who alert us when someone in the community needs assistance. In our small, close-knit town, word travels quickly—and we’re always ready to lend a hand.
We also partner with the Twilight Cancer Foundation to stay informed about local cancer patients and how we can support them. One story that stands out happened a few years ago in Decatur. While attending a swap meet, we met a young boy and his father who were staying at the same hotel. Tragically, his father passed away that weekend. We helped the boy reconnect with family and provided support during that difficult time. He had a cleft lip, and with our sponsorship, he was connected to the Shriners organization, who provided the surgery he needed. He now lives with his aunt in the San Antonio area, and we do our best to stay in touch.

At the end of the day, we’re just a group of car enthusiasts who care deeply about our community and do what we can to make a difference.

WORK HARD PLAY HARD

At the heart of the Dalhart Cruzers is a simple mission: good cars, good company, and doing some good whenever we can. We’re not a club with a strict schedule or a long list of yearly obligations, we’re just a group of gear heads who love lending a hand when someone needs it.

Our biggest and most anticipated event of the year is the Dalhart Cruzers Annual Car Show. Every year, folks from all around come out to show off their rides, share stories, and enjoy a day filled with horsepower, chrome, and community spirit. We’ve recently started a new tradition with our Christmas Party, giving us a chance to catch up, share a few laughs, and enjoy the season with fellow Cruzers and friends. It’s nothing fancy, just a warm gathering with great people.

When our schedules line up, we like to throw in a couple of cookouts and cruises throughout the year. These are some of our favorite times. Firing up the grill, hitting the road, and enjoying the ride. We’re also proud to support our local community however we’re able. If someone reaches out and asks us to help with an event or show up to support a cause, we’re all in. Our car show that we do the 1st weekend in June every year is our bread and butter. Every dollar we raise goes into taking care of scholarships and victims of cancer. It’s these kinds of things that keep us connected to the community and remind us why we started all this in the first place. We might not have the busiest calendar — but what we do, we do with heart. That’s just how the Dalhart Cruzers roll.

Starting this year Dalhart Cuzers will feature a Member Spotlight of the quarter. This is something offered exclusively to club members. If selected you will receive a mock digital magazine feature on this website in which you'll be able to showcase your ride and more. This is our way of highlighting our members, and allowing the community to get a little more insight into the members that help to make this club what it is.

On our 'Memorial' tab we feature a collage in which we honor the Cruzers we've lost.
